MovieBase
Thank you for purchasing MovieBase from the Apple App Store. On this page you will find some simple instructions to help you get the very best out of MovieBase.

Adding a Record
To get to this screen select the first option 'Add Movie' from the main menu. You will be presented with the Add Movie screen.
In this screen you can enter the Film Title, the Medium (such as the cinema you saw the film in, or if it was DVD, Blu-ray or TV) and enter a Comment. There is also a picker to select the Year of Release. If you scroll down the screen there is also a picker there to select the rating for the film.
When you have input all of the details press the 'Save' button in the top-right of the screen. This will enter all the details in the MovieBase database. You will be able to view this entry by selecting 'View Movies' from the main menu.
Editing Your Entries
MovieBase allows you to edit any entries you have in your database. So if you misspell a title or change your mind on a film rating, don't worry as you can edit anything you like. Firstly, you need to find the movie record that you wish to edit. So either go to 'View Movies', 'Top 25 Rated' or 'Lowest 25 Rated' to find the movie. Click into the movie details screen which looks like the screen below:
Once on this screen press 'Edit' button in the top-right of the screen. When you press this button you will then have the option of which row you wish to edit. The screen will look like the one below:
By pressing one of the rows you will be brought to the Edit screen. In this screen simply change the value to the value that you want. When you are done simply press the Save button in the top-right corner of the screen. You will be brought back to the details screen that you see below.
When you are here you can choose to complete the your editing by pressing the Done button in the top-right of the screen. When you do press the Done button the button to return you to previous screens will appear in the top-left corner of the screen. However, if you want to continue editing simply select another row and edit the value you selected.
